ACCT 4327 Accounting Information Systems
Covers understanding, developing, and analyzing financial and management computerized accounting systems used by professionals in all areas of accounting and the technology that applies to them. Examines the flow of information in a computerized accounting system and explores the interaction of the different components of the enterprise with the information system. Students learn how to document, design, and operate a system that reaches far beyond the boundaries of the general ledger. Prerequisite: ACCT 3311. Restricted to Cox majors.
